Where is your coffee from?

Interesting that you feel the need to ask. All our coffee comes from the planet earth. In fact, earth, particularly the area often referred to as the “coffee belt,” is the only place in the confirmed universe that offers the needed climactic conditions for coffee to grow deliciously.
If you already knew that and are more interested in the specifics, it shouldn’t surprise you when we tell you Orbital is a blend of high-quality varieties grown across different regions of Colombia.

Is your coffee flavored?

What do you mean flavored? Like purposely making it taste like something other than what it is, coffee? No, not at all. Orbital is all about authentic and genuine coffee flavors. Remember that coffee is a fruit, and when we speak of flavor notes, we are referring to the natural flavors of the coffee cherry.

Is your coffee tested for mold?

Of course, it is. Furthermore, you should know that it is a legal requirement for all beans to undergo vigorous environmentally sound testing before exportation from their origin.

Is your coffee organic?

Organic? As in derived from living matter, then our response is obvious. If by organic, you mean produced or involving production without chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial agents. Then you should know we proudly source our beans from farms that leverage organic farming practices. If a certification is what you are looking for. Then be advised that the independent farmers we work with can’t afford to pay the certification fees and prefer allocating their funds to improving their harvests; organically.

Does your decaf have chemicals?

Orbital uses sugar cane ethanol acetate from the abundant sugar cane byproduct to decaffeinate our beans. No chemicals and no funny business, just vapor and sugar cane ethanol acetate. So, your decaf is 100% decaffeinated?
Don’t be silly; you can’t have that without chemicals. Orbital is approximately 97% caffeine free.
