    Post-Harvest Processing

    Coffee cherries undergo a 48 to 60-hour anaerobic fermentation, deepening their natural complex flavors. A precisely controlled sun and mechanical drying process, followed by 45 days of stabilization, locks in purity and structure.

    Naturally Decaffeinated

    Once processing is complete, the cherries are milled to reveal the green coffee beans, which are then shipped to Vancouver, Canada, where they undergo the 100% Chemical-Free Swiss Water® decaffeination process-removing caffeine while preserving the coffee's intrinsic flavors.

    The Final Experience

    A beautifully balanced cup with silky chocolate, ripe plum, tropical guava, bright red fruits, and a citrus finish-without any of the caffeine consequences.

Is your coffee flavored?

Absolutely not. Our coffee remains true to its origins, highlighting the natural flavors of the coffee cherry. When we talk about flavor notes, we mean the authentic tastes of the coffee fruit itself.

Does the sugarcane decaf process have sugar?

No, the sugarcane decaf process does not add sugar to the coffee. The method uses ethyl acetate, a natural compound derived from sugarcane, to remove caffeine without affecting the taste or adding any sweetness.

Is your decaf 100% caffeine-free?

Not entirely—completely caffeine-free coffee is a myth. The Swiss Water Process results in 99% caffeine-free beans, while the Sugarcane Process results in 97% caffeine-free beans.

Does your decaf have chemicals?

No chemicals here. We use natural methods to decaffeinate our coffee. Decaf is a choice for health-conscious individuals, so we wouldn't compromise that with harmful chemicals. We use either the Swiss Water Process or the Sugarcane Process (also known as the EA process) to decaffeinate.

Is your coffee tested for mold?

Yes, all our beans undergo rigorous, environmentally sound testing for mold, as required by law before being exported from their country of origin.

Where is your coffee from?

All our coffee is sourced from planet Earth—specifically, the “coffee belt,” the only region in the known universe with the ideal climate for coffee. Our beans are always single-origin harvests from high-quality varieties grown across South America, Central America, and Africa. Always single origin. Never blended to cut costs!

What you’ll need

  • 1/2 teaspoon Food Grade Dried Lavender Flowers for garnish
  • One double Orbital Decaf SWP Rwanda espresso
  • 1/2 teaspoon of CORTAS food grade Rose Flower Water# - One cup or 10 oz of preferred milk or alternative
  • 1-3 Tablespoons Simple Syrup, depending on desired sweetness

    Instructions:

    1. Pull double shot espresso
    2. Combine milk or an alternative substitute, 1-3 pumps of simple syrup, Rose Flower Water, steam with frother or heat on the stovetop, and whisk to foam.
    3. Pour milk or an alternative substitute into a 16 oz glass
    4. Pour a double espresso shot over milk or an alternative substitute
    5. Sprinkle dried lavender flowers over latte
